أَسْئِلَة شَائِعَة — FAQ

Answers for Parents Who Want to Get It Right.

We know you have questions before trusting anyone with your child’s Quran education. These are the ones parents ask us most — answered honestly.

🛡️ Safety & Trust
How do I know my child is safe with your teachers?
Every teacher goes through a comprehensive 5-stage vetting process including identity verification, background checks, qualification verification, Islamic character assessment, and a supervised trial period. No teacher reaches a student without completing all five stages. All sessions run on a secure, private platform — and can be recorded so you can review any class at any time.
Can I sit in and watch my child’s class?
Absolutely — and we encourage it, especially in the early weeks. Parents are always welcome to observe any class. Many parents find that sitting in occasionally helps them support their child’s practice at home.
Are your teachers male or female? Can I request a female teacher for my daughter?
Yes, you can. We have both male and female teachers and respect every family’s preference. When you book your trial, you can specify your preference and we will do our best to match accordingly.
What platform do you use for classes? Is it secure?
All classes are conducted on a secure, password-protected video platform — either Zoom (private meeting link) or our dedicated portal, depending on your region. No class links are shared publicly. Only the teacher, student, and permitted parents/guardians can access the session.
📖 Quality & Curriculum
What qualifications do your teachers have?
All our teachers hold formal Quranic education qualifications — including Ijazah (the chain of certified transmission of the Quran), Hifz completion, and in many cases accredited Tajweed certifications. Beyond qualifications, every teacher is evaluated for teaching ability and character — because both matter equally to us.
How do I know my child is making real progress?
After every class, the teacher logs notes on what was covered. Every month you receive a structured progress report covering recitation accuracy, memorisation milestones, Tajweed application, and character/adab observations. You are never left guessing.
My child has never studied Arabic or Quran before. Is that okay?
That’s perfectly fine — and very common. The Noorani Qaida course is designed for complete beginners, including children with zero prior exposure to Arabic. We assess every child before recommending a starting point, so they always begin at the right level.
My child has special educational needs (ADHD, autism, dyslexia). Can you accommodate them?
We do work with children with a range of learning needs. During your free trial and assessment, let us know your child’s specific needs so we can match them with a teacher who has relevant experience and can adapt their approach. Every child deserves access to the Quran — and we mean that.
⏰ Scheduling & Flexibility
What time zones do you serve?
We serve families across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and worldwide. We have teachers available across multiple time zones, including early morning, after school, evening, and weekend slots. When you book your trial, you’ll select your time zone and preferred slot.
What if we need to reschedule or cancel a class?
Life happens — and we get it. Classes can be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice at no charge. We offer a straightforward, no-fuss makeup class policy so your child never misses progress due to a scheduling conflict.
How many classes per week do you recommend?
For most children we recommend 3–5 classes per week for consistent progress. But every family is different. Even 2 classes per week produces meaningful results when combined with regular home revision. We’ll recommend a schedule during your free trial consultation — and it can always be adjusted.
Can siblings take classes too? Is there a family discount?
Yes to both. We serve whole families — it’s common for 2 or 3 siblings to be enrolled simultaneously. Please ask about our family enrolment options when you speak with our team after your free trial.
💳 Fees & Commitment
Is the free trial really free? What’s the catch?
There is no catch. The free trial is a genuine 30-minute class with a qualified teacher. No payment required, no card on file, and no obligation to continue. We offer the free trial because we’re confident the quality speaks for itself — we’d rather earn your trust than ask for it upfront.
What happens after the free trial?
Our team will contact you with a personalised course recommendation and pricing for your child’s level and goals. You choose whether to proceed — on your own terms, on your own timeline. There is no pressure.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. We operate a fair, transparent refund policy. If you are unsatisfied within the first 30 days of enrolment, we will refund unused classes. We believe in earning your continued trust every month — not locking you in.
How do payments work?
Classes are billed monthly based on your chosen package. Payment is taken securely online at the start of each billing period. There are no hidden fees and no enrolment charges.
🌍 General
Do you serve non-native English-speaking families?
Yes. We have teachers who can communicate in Urdu, Arabic, and other languages to support families where English may not be the primary home language. Please mention this when booking your trial.
Is this right for older children/teens who are starting from scratch?
Absolutely. We have many teenagers beginning their Quran journey for the first time — and we handle this with full respect and zero judgement. Our teachers are skilled at adapting their approach for older beginners. It is never too late to start.
